The Literal Truth
Last week, at work in the office of our family business, Mom mentioned needing a larger stew pot. I told her I could get her one for 30% less than the one she had priced. She agreed & while dropping it off over the weekend I mentioned I was getting a pizza for dinner. She asked me to get her one too and put it on her tab.
Monday I arrived at work to find a check from her on my desk. In the Memo section she had written “pot & pizza.” Thanks Mom.
